We are a team of friendly neighborhood scientists passionate about making science accessible to the general public. We aim to:
- Offer science communication training to UC Davis students and postdoctoral fellows
- Develop skills useful for careers outside of academia
- Connect scientists to the community through shared curiosity
- Act as the hub for student science communication projects at UC Davis
Our Mission
To cultivate a community of science communicators at UC Davis dedicated to making scientific research accessible, relevant, and interesting to everyone.
Our Vision
A world without ivory towers of science, in which everyone asks and explores scientific questions about the world around them. If you're a scientist who shares our vision or wants to learn more about our group, join us for one of our upcoming events. Science Says is part of the Institute for Food and Agricultural Literacy (IFAL), which is supported by UC Davis Innovation Institute for Food and Health and the USDA Foundation for Food and Agricultural Research (FFAR) (PI: PC Ronald, UC Davis)
